Frankston Hockey are once again running our FREE junior hockey coaching program.  It’s the perfect introduction to our great Olympic sport and its absolutely FREE.

The coaching program is run by experienced coaches in a safe and controlled environment.  The successful format is based on a system set up by former Australian Hockey International Jim Irvine.  He comes down to Frankston to help guide all the coaches before each program starts.  The children are coached in small groups of 6 – 8 where they learn skills and then apply them in fun games.  Over 300 children have taken part in the last few seasons and many have gone on to join our club.

Frankston Hockey Clubs next FREE coaching program starts on Friday 11th February and runs every Friday night to the 4th March.  The venue is the Peninsula Hockey Centre, behind Monash University.  Enter via Bloom Street.  Melways Ref pg 102 G4.

Age 6 years to 9 years from 6 pm to 7 pm and age 10 years and older from 7pm to 8 pm.  Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.  All hockey equipment is provided, just bring runners, lots of enthusiasm and prepare for a good time.
