General Information

The Frankston Hockey Club prides itself on providing a welcoming club environment that fosters personal development for players at all levels and Junior age groups – from first time players to regional/state and national level players.

Parents of players are actively encouraged to be part of the club, and provide vital input, support and encouragement.

Frankston has entered nine sides in the 2011 winter season in the following age groups:

Under 9 – 2 teams
Under 11 – 2 teams
Under 13 – 1 team
Under 15 – 1 team
Under 17 – 1 team

These teams are coached by volunteers from within the club. These coaches are supported through a set of development programmes co-ordinated and developed by Joe Hill who is the club's professional Junior Development Coordinator.

Frankston is committed to the Junior State Championships. With the following Frankston juniors making selection for the 2010 JSC.

The success of the Frankston Junior Section depends heavily on support from all sectors of the club and community and welcomes input and participation from any interested persons.
